The Prophet-10 Rev4 is the ten-voice version of the Prophet-5 Rev4, announced by Sequential alongside it on September 30, 2020. It shares the same all-analog engine: two Curtis CEM 3340 oscillators per voice and a choice of two filters, the Dave Rossum-designed SSI 2140 for the character of the Rev1 and Rev2, or Doug Curtis’s CEM 3320 from the Rev3.

Highlights

  • Ten voices and bi-timbral play: layer two programs or split the keyboard.
  • The Vintage knob, which recreates the behaviour of the different revisions, from rock-steady to the temperamental Rev1.
  • A five-octave, semi-weighted Fatar keybed with velocity and aftertouch.
  • 200 user and 200 factory programs.

At launch the US MAP was $4,299, against $3,499 for the Prophet-5. To see what ten voices change compared with five, read our guide to polyphony. Full specs on Sequential’s Prophet-10 page.
